Complete roofs for the west side
Western Hills is the name most people use for Cincinnati’s west side neighborhoods and neighboring Green Township, where brick homes climb the hillsides and chimneys stand on nearly every roof.
A new roof from us means the old one comes off entirely, the sheathing is checked and corrected, and a new underlayment goes down before the shingles. Every chimney gets new flashing, the attic gets proper ventilation, and the GAF shingles are backed by a GAF certified warranty.
The gutters are part of that same assessment. The on-site inspection is free and ends with a written estimate you can take your time with.

Western Hills
Steep pitches, brick chimneys and hillside drainage
Brick Cape Cods, Tudors and bungalows are common on the west side, and many have steep roofs with dormers and sharp valleys. A steep pitch sheds water well, but it also means more flashed joints per square foot, and every dormer cheek and valley is a place a tired roof can let water through. Working safely on those pitches takes staging and patience.
Chimneys are the other story. Older brick chimneys often carry flashing that has been patched with tar several times over, and the mortar joints above the roofline weather out over the years. Water that gets in at a chimney can run along a rafter and show up on a ceiling well away from the brick. By the time a stain appears, the wood beneath has usually been wet for a while.
On these homes we install new step flashing and cut counter-flashing into the mortar joints of every chimney, line each valley with ice-and-water membrane, and ventilate the attic so the deck stays dry. Seamless gutters sized for a steep roof catch the faster runoff before it spills down the hillside toward the foundation. Downspouts are extended and aimed downhill so the water leaves the lot rather than the basement wall.
A free on-site inspection tells you where your roof stands. Book one here. And if there is one specific thing you are worried about, call us about that — we would rather come look than have you wonder.

Common questions
Western Hills roofing questions
How much does a roof replacement cost in Western Hills?
We give every home in Hamilton County a firm, written price after a free on-site inspection, because the cost turns on square footage, pitch, how many layers come off, the condition of the decking and the shingle line you choose. For a starting figure today, our instant roof quote prices three options in about 17 seconds.
Why does my ceiling stain appear nowhere near the chimney?
Water that gets past old chimney flashing often follows a rafter or the top of a ceiling joist before it drips, so the stain can show up several feet away. We trace it on the roof during the inspection and re-flash the chimney as part of a new roof.
Can you install a new roof on a very steep pitch?
Yes. Steep roofs take roof jacks, planks and more time, and we plan for that in the schedule and the written estimate. The pitch is measured during the free inspection, so the price reflects the roof you actually have.
What does the free on-site inspection cover?
We get on the roof and assess the complete system — shingle condition, decking, flashing, ventilation and gutters. You get photographs of what we find and a written scope and price. No cost, and no obligation to go ahead.
Do you offer financing?
Yes. Low monthly payment options and 0% APR available for qualified buyers. We go through it at your estimate.
What if I just need one specific thing looked at?
Call us. We are a local company and we would rather come take a look than send you somewhere else. If it turns out to be something small, we will tell you it is something small.
